Flavor is sweet with caramel, fruits and some unwanted sour notes. Could be infected. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 20, 2008 From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy brown with lacing tan head. Aroma is light roasted malt and a light breadish note. Flavour is breadish, subdued sweetness and a light acidity. Light acidic finish with a lingering caramel malt note. MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Feb 29, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. According to the staff there, not the same beer as their "Den Mørke". Sour aroma, not horrible, but not right. Muddy dark brown colour, stable tan head. The flavour is slightly sour, then metallic, finishing on a roasted, slightly sweet note. Metallic and watery aftertaste. Not exactly nasty, but not good enough. One gets used to the off-flavours after a while, making it almost drinkable. I suspect it is a failed Den Mørke which has been renamed.
