1L bottle from shop near Riga (Baltezers?). Hazy golden color, small foam. Yeast was visible. Aroma is light grainy, quite hoppy. Taste is light fruity at the beginning, but after more bitter. Light bitter finish.

(0,2 l sample poured from a bottle at SOPP’09) Golden and lightly hazy. Hardly any head. Grass and some boiled vegetables in aroma. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Malts, grass, sweetness, lightly fruitiness and bitterness in taste. Malty aftertaste.

1L Bottle - Hazy golden in colour. Malty and slightly musty aroma with some citrus hints and an element of pine. Nicely balanced taste with hops, malt and hints of lemon tea.

Draught, 5.3% at the brewpub. Cloudy bright orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is slightly bready and citric in a good combination. Good mouthfeel.

Draught (Bralis Krogs, Riga)
Not quite clear yellow, small mouldy head. Dusty light malt and slightly alcoholic doughy aroma. Taste is a smooth light malt and some subtle hops, and a touch of alcohol. Graininess is OK, but not exciting.

Draught @ Alus Krogis "Bralis"
Golden, slightly hazy color. Light hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with flowery hops and hay. Oily hoppy-bitter aftertaste with notes of oak. Clean and balanced.
