Delicate smoky aroma with malts and caramel. Small brown head, quickly dissapearing, no lacing. Light brown body with some haziness. Very good balance between smoke taste and malts caramel sweetness. Very good beer to introduce someone to the world of smoke.

bottle, many thanks to ElDesmadre! Brown colour, creamy beige head, lovely smoky aroma - not too intensive, but very promising. Medium-bodied, solid malty base with a lovely smoke character, not too intensive but clearly detectable and enjoyable. Shy hoppy touch in the finish.

Bottle shared by Cuso, thanks! Aroma fruity, some smokiness, quite good. Colour red-brown. Taste really good, smoked ham, very light fruitiness. But mostly nice rauch. Finish is dry, smoked, very nice. I enjoyed this.

Bottled. Dark amber copper color. Excellent aroma of smoked sausages, meat. Beautiful! The taste however is dry, sour, though hoppy. A long lasting sour taste unfortunately. Not my style of beer (yet).

Bottle from my friend. Hazy chestnut brown color with small beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, smoked bacon and sausages. Taste, sweet malt, caramel, banana, light smokiness. Fruity, smokey finish. Tasty.

ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle. Not as smoky as expected but still good, with some dried plums and a hint of walnuts. Medium body (could use a bit more of that), light smoky and light sweet, quite flavourful. On the downside, there are metallic and alcoholic notes in the finish. On the other hand, these two flaws somehow manage to tame each other, so that overall the beer is pleasant to drink after all.

Bottle at home (Thanks a lot to Kate) - shared with Mette. Clear dark - offwhite head. Nice smokey aroma and taste. Ryebread. Nice bitterness. Fruity notes. Ok medium body. Nice mouthfeeling. Roasted malts. Wood smoked malts. Nice high drinkability.

The head is robust, the body brown. It smells smoked, malty, a bit creamy, darkmalty. The taste is darkmalty, balanced, and medium intensiv smoked. Good 11/12/11/12/11/12

Bottle, 6.5%. Caramelly aroma, meaty smoke note. Clear brown colour, frothy tan head. The flavour is mildly smoky, has a lingering note of burning ember. It is mild compared to some Germans, but a good and decent smoked.
