A pale golden orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A biscuity malt, slightly wheaty, cereal nose, with a hint of citrusy hop. A dry taste, potent zesty flavour, loads of citrusy hops, followed by a balancing, smooth biscuity malt taste. The finish is dry and hoppy. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2007, Heacham, Norfolk).

Bottle (in NZ), a haze to the light gold pour, with a large pillowy white head. An earthy malt nose with floral hops. The malt palate is quite sweet, with some fruit flowery flavour coming through on the swallow. Found the finish just a little non-descript, but a pretty harmless bitter.

Re-rate: Aitken dispense system at the fantastic Bow Bar in Edinburgh. Train canceled, so had an hour to make a quick beeline here and back the the station to catch the next train. Yellow gold, clean snowy white head. Rustic sweet candy hops. Sweet, full bodied malt, candy/garden bitterness, just a tiny hint of resin in the finish. Pleasant old fashioned sort of beer.

bottle thanks to tashi. Straight forward hop nose, nothing original. clear straw colour, little white head. quite bland and un-everything. overly carbonated. ok.

Tashi’s house, 28/05/08. Not too much to say - this was very similar to the others. A bit fizzier perhaps. Bored now.

A Mes rate: bottle thanks to Tashi.
Golden brown colour with a thin white head. Balanced aroma of bitter grassy hops and good earthy malt. Similar flavour but somehow it doesn’t balance out. Dry finish is nice though. So so.
