Tap at Brady’s on Nov. 18, 2011. Clear golden orange pour with a small soapy white head. Nose is resinous hops and some citrus. Medium palate. Taste is pine resin, citrus, and floral hops with a touch of toffee. Awesome.

On tap at Brady’s Brewhouse. Clear amber with a creamy tan head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, resinous hops and toasted malt. Taste is solid and balanced with citrus, light pine, caramel, toffee and sweet malt. Finishes up with moderate bitterness.

On draught at Brady’s Brewhouse in downtown New Richmond, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, a hint of lemon zest, light caramel and a touch of cream tartar. Taste is softer than the Big Muskie Pale Ale. Some flavors of grapefruit, a hint of orange juice and some light caramel malt. Finish has a quick sharp bitterness that turns into a smooth citrus aftertaste that quickly disappears. Not as dry and spicy as the Big Muskie Pale Ale, but a tad smooth compared to most other IPAs I’ve tried.
