Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A dangerously drinkable malty ale. Full bodied, rich hop and malt character throughout, with a delectable after taste.

Rich copper/bronze colour with high condition - poured with a big off-white head. A cracking beer from the depths of Wales, with hopping levels that would find favour on the other side of the pond. Lots of floral, zesty, spicy hop aromas and flavours. However, the brewery has combined that with a rich premium bitter style to produce a beautifully structured brew. Good balance between body and bite, with a ligering hoppy aftertatse. Mixing US hops with traditional British varieties (Cascade and Fuggles in this instance) is something that more British brewers should try. I wish I could get my hands on some of this in cask. Bottled (bottle conditioned) from onlyfinebeer. BBE 31 August 2004.

Fresh hop nose with some molasses, orangy amber color, big spongy head. Toasted malt taste with some sweetish tones in the middle. Concludes with a slightly gritty, drity bitterness. Nice transitions. Medium body. Alright!

Huge big foamy head on the ligth orange brew with soft carbonation. Very hoppy, flowery and grassy nose. Weak grainy taste, round with some bitterness.
