3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, Leicester Fest ’08 (Saturday afternoon session). Headless honeyish amber. Musty hop aroma with citrus and faint celery. Lemony, nettle-like hop bite, tea-with-milk countering malt, and sweet Malted Milk lingering biscuit afters. No-nonsense hop bitterness that sticks around, and another tasty, rounded brew from these boys..

Cask at Macclesfield Beer Festival 08. Hazy amber/gold, served flat as roadkill. Smells a bit pissy like sugar puffs with a little citrus. Little floral, little hops and decent amount of bitterness. Decent indeed.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask, Leicester Fest 08. Hazy dull gold with a small head. Aromas are fruity with citrus and apricot. Some pear with minimal malts. Flavours are dry, yeasty and bitter. Fruity with biscuit malts. Suddenly I have become tired of this style.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 6/12/07. Amber coloured with a decent, lacy white head. Citrus hop aroma with some supporting malt. The flavour was biscuity to start before a long grapefruit hop finish. Excellent.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Golden orange with white head. Lovely clear beer with a tangy lemony, grapefruit hoppy flavour on a crisp malty body. Refreshing and dry throughout with a long finish. I really enjoyed this one.
