Can @ DØE meeting. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma and flavor of malt, corn, cardboard. Thin body, lively carbonation, sweet finish. 150513

355 ml bottle kindly shared by my beer pal, Lars Helge. Clear pale golden body with a fingerthick white head. Sourish light malts on the nose. Papery bitterness that lingers with a light sour sweetness initially. Light to medium body. Heavy carbonation.

Version brewed in Chile. Can from Lider Express, Nuñoa. Golden color, good foam. Aromas of wheat/ cooked vegetables . Light body & complexity . Pretty std industrial

Uma excelente large brasileira, minha opinião é que a brahma extra se tornou hoje a melhor cerveja comum brasileira, tem todos ingredientes de uma boa large europeia. A brahma acertou na mão com essa cerveja.

Amargor característico de uma cerveja encorpada, apesar de ser uma lager. Nao deixa ressaca de jeito nenhum.

Straight pour from a twist-off, 355ml bottle to small tumbler; best by of December 11, 2011 printed on label (111211) Appearance (2/5): Clear, golden body with maybe a finger of bone-white head fading quickly to a thin ring around the edge and a hazed surface. The body’s actually almost exactly what “piss yellow” looks like (which is also, coincidentally, half of Michigan and USC’s colors). Smell (4/10): Weak, but smells like the style should (aside from weakness)—a little bit of biscuity malt, and some mild herbal hops. Taste (7/10): Mild hop bitterness enhanced by the clean, crisp malt profile make for a moderately bitter start, followed by just a hint of pale / biscuity malt, a little chalky, with a very mild undercurrent of sweetness. Bitterness comes back around in the finish, in a medicinal sort of way. Mouthfeel (4/5): Smooth, velvety carbonation that covers the tongue, punctuated with bursts of little bubbles—really pretty nice. Crisp, clean, really pretty smooth. Overall (15/20): This is definitely a beer whose flavor profile and mouthfeel are enhanced by the temperature at which it’s served—that is to say, drink this very, very cold. When I studied abroad in Brazil as an undergrad, this was my favorite of the cheap, fizzy yellow beers there. It’s not great, but for what it is and for what it’s meant for—that is to say, something refreshing and ice-cold—this is about as good as you’re going to get in Brazil. I don’t think a lot of people share my opinion in this, but they are all wrong, for the most part.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2012 Golden colour with a short lived white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is lightly sweet but with a small bitter hoppy finish. You would of course take this over regular Brahma but I would still reach for any Brazilian craft beer if there were choice.

Bottle in Alta Floresta, Brazil. Grassy cereal biscuit aroma. Pale golden yellow colour. Dry grassy biscuit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Hype of the description doesn’t match the reality.

Garafa Apocalipso Point Bar, Diamantina. Pours light golden with small head. More full bodied than other Brazilian pale lagers. Some complexity to the taste with some sweetness. Enjoyed this.

Commom brazilian macro with a bit more of body. refreshing with a weak body and malt taste. Low bitterness
