MrBunn (1523), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 3, 2008 Can... sampled in Managua. Pours a slightly darkish gold with a one finger head. Aromas are corny grains with something a little reminiscent of sour mash. Flavor is like a normal beer with some rather foul sugary sweet notes. Blech.
Nekronos (2261), Xalapa, Mexico Apr 12, 2009 Not bad, We all know the story abot why it’s claled Brahva isntead Brahma but it’s still a normla beer. kmweaver (2398), Sebastopol, California, USA Dec 13, 2008 12oz bottle, purchased in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Pours a bright, slightly-paled golden color; thin white head with decent lacing. Very light amounts of sugar and grain in the aroma; inoffensive but barely there, touch of a metallic note. Medium mouthfeel: the metallic presence is much more pronounced here: salty, metal, and very light grainy sweetness; not good, this makes Tona look delightful side-by-side; insipid, salty, and slightly acrid and sharp. Medium finish: salty, sweet grains, and light metallic notes. rcasta (472), El Salvador May 21, 2008 crafted commercial brew, medium body, sweetish hoppy, refreshing and thirst quenching. Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador May 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden with a lot of fizziness. Extremely sweet and skunky. ghawener (953), San Salvador, El Salvador May 11, 2008 Can: Well crafted commercial brew, medium body, sweetish hoppy, refreshing and thirst quenching. juliodo (3), Guatemala does not count Oct 23, 2007 Excelent beer, great flavor, no beer in Guatemala have this kind of presentation nor taste, great drinkability that makes you drink it very fast. Leaves no bad after taste a has a pretty. bkurtz (276), Peru Dec 14, 2006 Poured a very pale yellow with an artificial head. A new beer and another corn mash beer with no flavor. Poor Guatemala, I understand the only decent locally brewed beer, Moza, is due to be discontinued. :-(
