Cask Handpump at the Penny Black, Northwich (JDW) 27/04/2001 Smooth on the palate with some bitterness. Caramel malt flavour in the finish.

Bland, malty, little interest at all. This really was a boring beer with no redeeming features, sadly the way Brains are going nowadays.

Cask Conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Brown beer with fluffy white head. Malt crammed welsh beer, going over to boiled caramel and toffee. Very little finish, no lasting bitterness.
