COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Keg & Bottled; Special - originally released on 2 January 2013.

Atlantic White blends the tradition of Belgian ’Wit’ beers and the hop character of American IPAs to produce a ’White IPA’. Brewed with wheat malt and Belgian wit yeast , the addition of freshly crushed coriander seeds, Curacao orange and US hops give a light refreshing beer with a zest and spicy finish.

Bottled. Slightly hazy gold, with a tight white head and plenty of carbonation. Wheat beer aroma of orange peel, bubble gum and leafy, citrus hops. Full bodied, with some prickle on the tongue, more fruit, spice, coriander, grainy malts and a slightly dry finish. Good.

Bottle. Appearance is hazy, light amber, a pillowy cream head of about 1-2 fingers. Aroma- orange, creamy malt, zesty lemon hints, coriander, spices, wheat, yeast, bread, fruitcake hints. Taste- malts, orange juice, tropical fruit, raisin hints, cereal, crisp hops. Bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is juicy, with some carbonation.

Bottle from local Sake Marche store. Light tart fruit nose, butterscotch, light wheat, and small spice. Hazy dull amber/orange color. Moderate sweet wheatiness, citrus, weedy bittering, and grass. Thin-medium body. Lousy nose, but flavors are okay (except for the weird butterscotch bit). Not really much of a wit.

Bottle from a Tesco in Wales. Pours a clear blond colour with a frothy white head. Grassy citrus aroma. The taste is light spice and orange citrus. Light and refreshing, but doesn’t really match up to the wit / US IPA hybrid deScription.

Cloudy amber in colour, could possibly do with a bit more aroma.......................

Bottle. Bronze with a small head. An unusual range of quite comlex flavours. Fruity with some hops trying to fight their way through. A bit strange but still quite nice.Still struggling with the idea of Brains trying to brand itself as a craft brewery.
