Cask, Keg & Filtered Bottle; Occasional. Originally released on 18 June 2012.

Created by Simon Martin, aka Mr Real Ale Guide, this is a golden IPA with a hefty aroma of citrus flavours, especially grapefruit. Brewed with a trio of American hops – Zeus, Summit and Cascade, an initial smooth flavour leads to the huge citrus flavour of the hops kicking in towards the end, with oranges and a dry finish becoming apparent.

Has just the low-end with no mid-range. I like the mid-range punch and my face is left fully unbruised by this beer. Too much treacle, not enough refinement.

Watching rugby with Rory D this hit the spot nicely. Great aroma of citrus accompanied by an appropriate alcohol, level. Raspy bitterness gives you the IPA zing.

Backlog rating. Keg at The Rake tap takeover, London. t pours a clean golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, with notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine. Taste is fruity and quite bitter with a good hoppy presence. Notes of ripe tropical fruits, tangy crispy citrus peel. Finishes bitter and dry. Light bodied with lively carbonation

Cask at GBBF 2012. Poured a clear, light amber, with a dense white head. Aroma was herbal, with some raisins and malt, lacking any real hop character. Similar flavours, with dried fruit, satsumas and bread. Finish was light, with some straw and mild bitterness.

Butelka kupiona w Morissonie. Taki sredni pale ale. Nic w klimacie amerykanskim wiec nietrafiona klasyfikacja. Swietna etykieta. Aromat glownie slodowy, goryczka lekko zalegajaca. Kiepska piana.

330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip. A: Bronze, apple juice like in appearance, clear with a small head and a minimal amount of lacing. S: American citrus hops (Cascade and Simcoe) and laced with a note of Vanilla, which leads me to Saaz hop but I could be wrong. T: Grapefruit and other citrus fruits with the gummi bears I always think of while drinking an APA. Finish was long, bitter and lingering, but this eased off towards the end. M: Slightly heavy body, low to minimal amount of carbonation. O: Billed as an American style IPA, but to my palate it was more of an English Pale/Indian Pale Ale or APA.
