"A blend of dark and chocolate malts, gives this dark mild a full flavour. The beer has a delicate hop and chocolate aroma while the palate starts malty with a slight nuttiness, but then gives way to a light dry finish."

[500ml bottle at EBBC12] Black pour, almost no head. Thin scuddy lacing around the glass. Styrian Goldings in this, but they take a back seat so much it’s like they’re in the car behind. Thick molasses on the nose, more sweet molasses and coffee on the flavour. Ashen finish. Mouthfeel pretty good for a dark mild – smooth, and with plenty of flavour [19052012]

500 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with a beigeish head. Aroma of roasted malts and milk chocolate. Mild flavour of roasted malts, milk chocolate, hops and some sweet English toffee. Light bodied, very smooth mouthfeel and a roasty, chocolatey finish. A really smooth and mild beer, yet packed with flavour.

Bottle. Dark brown with a cream head. Mild aroma and flavour. Roasted malt. Like a weak milk chocolate drink. Pretty tame.
