Cask & Keg; Special - Released on 27 September 2012.
Beer writer and SommALEier Melissa Cole has created her ‘ultimate IPA’.
Fruits of our Labours, a 6.5% ABV craft brewery ale, is an West Coast style IPA. Brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade and Summit hops, and a blend of passion fruit, mango, peach and pineapple, the result is a ‘fruity little number’ with a huge tropical nose and a spicy, rounded bitter punch.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear light copper with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, corn and a hint of lemon scented cleaning product. Tropical fruit flavours with straw and bitter orange peal. Finishes with dry cereal, light resin and some toffee. Don’t know why, but these guys just can’t seem to get the full flavour and aroma out of their hops...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap East, Stratford 3 Nov 12. Gyldengul. Lavt luftig skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Overraskende sur fruktaroma. På grensen til eddik. Smaken også veldig syrlig - men god. Banan. En skikkelig munnrenser.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Half-pint, keg at Tap East, Stratford City. Shared with Finn. Golden-yellow in body appearance, slight haze. A few spots to the glass. Smell of tart fruits. Dry and tart fruity flavour. Very dry ending. Strange kind of an IPA. Palate cleanser. (London, 03.11.2012).
