Pint in the Ye Old Nags Head, Monmouth. Very surprised when I saw it and had to look twice. never seen it before and didn’t know it existed. Was a treat. Great appearance with a decent head. Nice and smooth and easy to drink. Hops with a fruity taste. Sat in the beer garden, lovely sunny day. Goes down a treat.

Bottled. Amber brown, thin white head and moderate condition. Caramel, toffee and hop aromas. Caramel, bananas and mouthcoating hop oils. Quite dry with a good level of hop bitterness in the finish.

Transparent light tea, white average head, small bubbles that’s a plus. Average fresh rye bread flavours.

daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2002
Dark orange appearance. Caramel, sweet malt and some sort of a "cheezie" smell that I’ve come across twice in one night. Organic body, good hops and a fair amount of sweet malt. Besides the "cheezie" notes, this was a fairly ordinary pale ale.
