Hand pulled at The White Lion, Tamworth. Nice chestnut body and good head. Sweet hoppy taste, some bitterness, some water. Good, no frills bitter.

Cask at the wharf. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, hop, malt. Flavour is fruit, hop, malt, apple. Medium body. OK beer.

Pours clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask at Bishop’s Arms, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, butterscotch, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

From cask at Bishops Arms. Pours clear and golden amber with a small and white head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Toasted malty, caramelish and light fruity to chemical. Bitter, toasted malty and light chemical into a dry finish.

Cask @The Warf. Pours amber with a tiny off-white. Aroma of malt, fruitiness, red apples and yeast. Flavor is sweet and malty with some nuts, caramel and fruitiness. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Cask at the Wharf. A dark amber colored beer without head. Lightly oxidized on the nose, nutty, raisiny and with some bready notes. Some piney hints. It’s soft on the palate, medium bodied, and with a pleasant bitterness. Bread hints, dried fruits and some piney notes in the flavor. Short, bready and lightly bitter finish. Quite pleasant. 120624

Cask. The Old White Swan (Nicholson’s), York. I knew before ordering this that I wouldn’t much like this, but still, a tick is a tick. Copper reddish body. Thin white head. Toffee, hops, malt, red fruit. Bittersweet. Dry finish.
