Cask conditioned at The Rock of Gibralter Inn, Enslow, Oxon. Copper with white head. After a 20 mile walk I was in no state to perhaps get the correct details from the pump clip, but the beer was a standard malty bitter, some sweetness, bready, yeasty but wet.

Cask conditioned handpump Old Contemptibles Birmingham. A dark amber coloured beer with a whitish ring of head. A woody earthy malty aroma with bits of oats and wheat make you think this is better than anything Brains do but then the taste is the usual dull nonsense. Ordinary maltiness with a bit of tea. Promised good things but underdelivered.
