3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jookos (829) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 22, 2013
Bottle. Yellow, clear. Really nice citrusy-green hoppy nose with slightly caramelly toffee malts (feels scottish!). Some slight metallic tones, nutty yeastiness. Body is light, quite soft, some oilyness, a bit stale malty. Pale malts, greenish hops. But sadly, after just 5 minutes most of the gorgeous hoppyness has faded, making me consider dumping this as slightly oily light malty beers isn’t my thing.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours golden with froth. Some caramel, as with most bottled ales overcarbonated and tend to be much of a muchness. OK.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mikkopen (675) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAY 5, 2013
500 ml bottle. Clear golden yellow colour, thin white head. Fruity, malty aroma with grass, citrus and caramel notes. The flavour is grassy bitter, with fruity and caramel-malty notes. OK session ale.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jimthechap (1206) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - APR 4, 2013
There is an immediate bitter waft of grapefruit peel coming from a big, light golden pint with the remnants of an off-white head. Closer oganoleptic inspection gives an indication of biscuity golden malt and tangerine. For a golden ale, this has lovely character. There is a dual mouthfeel of prickly carbonation and smooth body that carries the bitterness well. It is almost a little soapy as well, but for that it is pleasant. I could happily have a session on this but I think it would have to be from cask in Wales. I’ll put that on the bucket list.

Bottled (thanks laiti!). Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is a bit grainy with some fruity and floral hoppyness as well. Flavour is quite bitter, floral and a bit grainy notes. Quite standard golden ale.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beerheart65 (691) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2013
Clear golden with short one finger head and just bit lacing. Aroma has hay, grass, some fruits, caramel-nutty malting. Dry and bitter, nutty, malty, medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish, bit grapefruity. Easy to drink, nice and malty with balancing citrus hoppiness. I liked this one.

Better than some are making out, hoppy taste but if you like it is fine. Not very complex but worth a go
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TomCouch (23) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2012
Mmm. A bit too light, and slightly too gassy. Tastes a bit too mass produced. Not particlarly to my taste.

Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a crystal clear amber with a thin white broken head. The aroma is of fruit and honey. The flavour is medium bitter and hoppy with a rich creamy fruity palate. A very nice session ale that deserves a better rating.
