Aug 9, 2008 Cask at GBBF 08. Clear gold in colour with a similar honey nose to the standard SA. A very solid golden ale but I actually prefer the SA.

Pale orange, small head. Tea and caramel aroma. Fruity sweet light malt, some gentle hops. Drinkable and refreshing, but uninspiring.

Pours golden with a slight haze. A staying, bubbly, white head on top. Aroma is lightly spicy, subdued malts and good pine hops. Low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely bitter, fruity and pine-like. Light doughy character and good dryness. Nice session beer.
