chris_o (4393), London, Greater London, England May 6, 2005 A single varietal traditional cider from a small, third generation producer in the Forest of Dean, which has been on the go for over 80 years. This is aged 2 years, which seems to have rounded out the edges. Cloudy gold colour. Reasonably tannic. Dry but not bone dry. Plenty of residual fruit. There’s a hint of farmyard, but its very subtle. A pleasant, quite approachable farmhouse cider. From the barrel at Battersea Beer Festival, February 2005.
