Brewed in the name of Willy Nilly, the postman made famous by Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood, this is a distinctive ruby ale with a traditional rich hop aroma, complimented with a fruity and more-ish finish. Goes exceptionally well with chicken, burgers and fruity desserts.

Bottled 22/06/13. A dark brown to ruby coloured beer with a wisp of whitish head. A fruity malty aroma. Fruity in the mouth too but with a real lick of chocolate. Pretty decent.

500ml Bottle: BBD 31 Aug 2013. Poured into two half-pint glass tankards at home on 7 June 2013. Bright and clear body: red body leaning towards brown, on top a thin off-white head that soon became a wisp and collar. Red berries in the nose and taste: more malts than hops but a good blend of flavours with a body depth that suited the brew. Semi-sweet front with a mildly bitter finish, refreshing and interesting. A decent beer all round. Pity the head refused to hang around.
