COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - May to June. Has also been available in pasteurised bottle.
A pale thirst quenching beer with a floral aroma and citrus flavours. The crispness of wheat and succulence of honey combine to deliver a refreshing and lively flavour perfectly matched to the approach of summer.

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Honey aromas. Not quite sweet with polleny roughness which doesnt complement the initial aroma.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Pale/mid gold colour. Noticeable honey aroma. Slightly sharp, fruity flavour. Refreshing enough but not a lot to it.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A bright orange gold coloured beer. The honey in the aroma is a bit sweet and sickly. The taste is less astringent but the honey flavours come through after a slightly sweet start. Not a fan of honey in beer and I find the final taste a bit too much.

Cask @ Reading 2006: Golden with a short white head. Astringent honey with some metallic hops. Not great.

Cask at Reading Beer Festival 2006. Amber. Eggy/sulfuric aroma that burned off after a few minutes to leave a sort of sugary aroma. To taste this is sweet and malty with unpleasent dark sugar flavours and some odd honey character. Unbalanced.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London 21 Apr 2006) Colour is pale amber. Nose is fruity and malty with hints of sweet honey. Taste is malty, fruity (mandarin) with sweet honey notes and some hops in the finish. A refreshing and enjoyable ale, but exciting? Not really.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2007 Cask at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 21-04-06. Golden beer with a small head, good level of bitterness but honey flavours can be detected. Cask at The Swan Bicester 29-09-07 Nice crisper tasting than I remembered, honey still everpresent but less than I recall, quite fruity and bitter. 3.4

[Cask at Charlie's Bar] A beutiful orange beer with a small head. The aroma is fruity with notes of oranges. The flavor is cask flat with powerful notes of fruit, oranges, cloves, and a little honey. It prickles the tongue and ends on a slight bitterness. A very fresh beer.
