Straightforward English bitter brewed with Goldings and Fuggles. Really looked the part with dark golden and hint of red colour. Lovely head which was retained for most of the drink. I just couldn’t pick out any particular fruity or malty flavours. Just kept thinking "this is a really nice pint". Left for me to savour by RD.

Bottle. Pours dark gold with a thick cream head. Smells of toffee and lemon. Quite sweet and full of toffee in the taste too with a smidgin of lemons coming through. Good quaffer but not much "pizzazz".

Clear pale amber. Dense off-white head and lacing. Sweet aroma of biscuits, grass and flower fields. Well-balanced bitterness and maltiness. Good aftertaste. A very fine traditional English bitter

500 mL bottle from Tesco into a pint glass. Clear orange-red, gassy, nice bubbly head. Floral and fruity hop aroma. Dry, bitter, a touch salty, hoppy. Tastes quite good, though particularly bitter!

Brown half litre bottle pours an off white head on a golden amber body. Spread laceworks inside my mug. Fresh hops, malt, wort, yellow apple to the nose. Also hops to the tongue, and modest malts, grains, notes of apples and raisins. Feels alright, not too watery, spite low abv. Finishes with hops, dusty malts, hints of apples and fermented raisins. Overall well brewed. Went well along with ukrainian golubtsy. B@Kilpishalli T@home.
