Dark coppery colored, medium sized yellow head. Nice bitter aroma with floral, even licoricy tones. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more watery with some metallic tones, lemon and bitter hops of course still there. Soft palated, dry aftertaste with lasting lemon.

Bottle. Pours amber/red with a medium off-white head. Bready, earthy aroma with notes of burnt sugar and some strange aroma (wet wool?). Smooth body, and a nice bitterness in the finish. A very good 3.4 abv bitter.

(Bottle) Malt, metal and some wet dog in aroma with notes of toffee/caramel, honey, hops and grass.Tiny hints of citrus. Malty flavour with toffee/caramel and a nice bitterness in the finish. Low carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Ok body for a bitter with 3.4%. 5/3/5/3/10 Second try: (Bottle) Pours amber. The aroma holds toffee and flowery hops up front with light notes of resin, syrup and oranges. Toffee and flowers in the flavour as well. Also some oranges in the background. Light to medium bitter with a light dry finish. Rather light body.

Bottle med’ brown in colour good clarity and with not much head. Hops were present on the aroma alonmg with a confectionary sweetness. Taste was also a touch sweet at first with some caramel, some woodiness, and hoppy bitterness about what I expected no frills, but reasonable enough.
