Flavor is nice, mild bitter with medium malt profile. Medium body. All in all a decent bitter at a relatively low ABV. nevertheless, probably one of the better brews from Wychwood .... bierkoning (5989), La Tropica, Netherlands Nov 26, 2007 Bottled. Dark amber color. Buttery, grassy bitter aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with butterscotch. Grassy and nutty bitter, just a bit salty. Medium bodied. Decent brew.
OleR (2008), Oslo, Norway Nov 10, 2007 Amber colored, thin beige head. Toffee, sweet malts and mild hops in the aroma. Medium sweet malt taste with a proper amount of bittering hops to balance.
