Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Cheap in a special offer and I was hoping to find a gem but didn’t drink more than a few mouthfuls. Just not my cup of tea - thin and watery, overly bitter given its little complexity, doesn’t sit well in the stomach. Nice amber colour and acceptable nose. Processed and artifical aftertaste. Glad to have tried any beer but won’t buy again.

Brown half litre bottle pours an off white head on a golden amber body. Spread laceworks inside my mug. Fresh hops, malt, wort, yellow apple to the nose. Also hops to the tongue, and modest malts, grains, notes of apples and raisins. Feels alright, not too watery, spite low abv. Finishes with hops, dusty malts, hints of apples and fermented raisins. Overall well brewed. Went well along with ukrainian golubtsy. B@Kilpishalli T@home.

Pours deep amber/brown classic bitter colour nice think head, aroma is quite sweet toffee and slight orange fruity. Taste to follow with a lovely balance of bitter sweet flavour that lingers and finishes quite dry and bitter. Very nice and strong flavour for a low strength beer

Bottle. Hazy brown amber. Aromatic, malty aroma - biscuit and candy. Slightly alcoholic, bitter and malty taste. Medium-bodied, sweetish finish. Quite nice and rather rich for a 3.4%
