pour amber-red, with a small white head.
Too me, a lot of cinnamon strikes the nose, a is completly dominating.
Watery texture, and have never seen the shadow of carbonation.
Very bitter end, so every sip is slightly worse than the previously.

From the tap at the Meadow, Coalbrookdale, Shropshire. Pours amber with a red hue. It has a decent head. The nose has toffee and raisins. The taste has grapes, then some toffee, but there is a clean appley finish. The palate has a medium structure and texture, despite the low alcohol and there is a clean finish. Overall, a tastey ale at session strength.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marble Arch, London, 6 Aug 2010) Amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, nutty, slightly roasted nose with toast, orange and marmalade. Malty, nutty taste with notes of dried fruit, orange and dusty hops. Light body, with balanced sweetness. Possibly on the thin side, but tasty and highly drinkable.
