COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
Brewed at Henley by Brakspear until 2002 when the brewery closed and Refresh UK bought the rights to the brand. The beer was then contract brewed at the Thomas Hardy (Burtonwood) brewery for Refresh until 2004 when production was transferred to a purpose built brewhouse at the Wychwood brewery which includes original Brakspear brewing equipment.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a thin bubbly beige head. The aroma has notes malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers, caramel, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask. Pours an almost clear amber with a dense white head. Fairly harmless aroma of fruit, malt and a little flowery hops. Light body, low carbonation, vague buttery note. Caramel and fruit. Good, dry hoppiness in the finish. A nice session Bitter. 190211

From cask. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing white head. Bitter and spiced aroma. Mild malty and bitter flavour. Dry and almost breadish. Ends with a mild spice note to the dry flavours in the finish.

Cask2008. Aroma is slightly eggy with fruits, nectar and a lot of caramel malts. Flavour is oak, spices, fruits and mild notes of vanilla. Very dry wood in the finish.

Gravity cask at Lobster Pot, West Malling Reddish copper, floral hop nose, not a lot in the mouth with hoppy earthy finish. Not a bad session bitter
