albertane (301), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Feb 11, 2008 I didn’t care for this beer the first time I had it. However, I tried it again last night and found it perfectly quaffable. It’s nothing to write home about, but despite being overly carbonated it has a balanced flavour and isn’t in any way unpleasant.
cgarvieuk (2599), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 23, 2008 Bottle at home... This is one of those beers that i wasnt looking forward to that much but from the first taste found to be a delight ... slightl hazy amber ... sweet metalic nose not so nice ... sweet (prob why i liked it ) fuirty juicy and in tasting (not drinking) the metalic flavour is more present ... on drinking the metalicness is barly noticible and your left with a nice caramel malt with a ligth hop bluevegie (1802), Perth, Australia Sep 29, 2008 500m bottle. Got a better head on the second pour, though still didn’t want to stay around for too long, orangey body. Nose was quite promising, piney hops, flavour follows through to the taste but just lacks depth and even a little watery. Gethinbeer (684), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 30, 2008 Bottle. A bit of a skunky aroma. Clear golden colour. Decent white head. Rich, honey flavour. Bit of fruit, malt , hops. But overall rather dull. DruncanVeasey (1794), No. 46, Leicestershire, Belgium Jun 26, 2008 Signature yeasty aroma with honey, sherbety fruit, sulphur, musty Goldings, pencilly conifer. Some citrussy hop, Fairy Liquid lemony soap and almond in the mouth. Smells promisingly yeasty, but ends up dominated by nasty lingering bitterness and nuthusky/shampoo afters. Really average pasteurised bitter. Amber with slender white lid. Beth101 (147), West Yorkshire, England Jun 22, 2008 Amber colour with a small off white head. Smelt fruity with a faint smell of hops. Tasted of apricots and hops with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
