A Mes rate (Actually an Elena rate): 50cl bottle from Shamansburys.
Looks like beer. Very very see through. Like condesed piss. Like first thing in the morning when you are away on holiday and you had too much to drink the night before. Slightly chemical, a wee bit like puke in the morning after too much cheap vodka. I could manage a pint but no more. I wouldn’t recomment this one, it’s not that nice. Quite Basildonian.

Mes: Erm... I have to pretty much agree with Elena.

Bottle. Pale Gold. Barely any aroma, slighty fruity and a bit of pear drop. Sweet, fruity, buttery, zero hopping. A mess really.

Amber, small beige head. A little remaining carbonation. Smells of honeyed orchard fruits and hard spices. Moderately sweet with some biscuits and some sticky caramel. Gentle but lingering bitterness. For a bottled bitter this is fine.

Quite the surprise packet. Lots of subtle complexity right through the nose and palate; minerals and gypsium, peppery woody hops, and a band of smokey fruits right in the back palate. Very subtle but I like the way it doesn’t try to force the issue.

bottle, pours deep gold with a thin white head. Aroma is floral hop and light hay. Light malty flavors end with a light bitterness. Easy drinker, but kind of boring.

Good solid citrus flavours and a far amount depth. That said the typical english EPA but abit on the better side.

Bitter with herbalish hops and sweet malt. Rich orange flavor with honey, nutty and burbon notes. Golden-amber body, low carbonated. Pleasant aftertaste.
