[I had the Brakspear Organic Beer, but according to the brewery, the recipe is the same as for Live Organic, though there are slight variations in the proportion of bittering hops used] An amber beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is sweet with notes of honey - though nothing is used. The flavor is extremely hoppy with notes of honey and malt. A lovely fresh beer.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful light brown colour and ditto head. A huge, lumpy sediment. Incredibly nice hop-character from the organic Goldings. Unpasteurized with bottle-fermentation making the beer almost explode out of the bottle. 290404

Bottled. Colour is amber, with big white fluffy head. Aroma is hoppy and a bit honey with some malts in it. Flavour is honey, flowery hops and mouldy. Weird thing is that there is something very alcohol-like in finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (17558) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 5, 2002
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2008 small head. Rich orangey aroma. Wheat malt and vanilla lies underneath orangey hops and perfume. The body is fairly light and the mouthfeel caramelly and straightforward. Feels a bit juicy, but some vegetables wakes up whe the beer warms slightly and reduces the pleasure. Low bitterness.

Bottle, 4.6%. Weak citrus aroma. Almost clear light amber colour. Small white head. The flavour has some citrus to start with, then turns fruity in a maltier way with a little teaish hops. Medium bitterness.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2008 2007-11-15, 6-3-7-3-14=33 Clear copper color, generous head. Light aroma, with some malt, citrusy hops, sweetish. Medium body, with a quite good malt flavor, turning into a more toffeish feeling while the bitterness raises. Better than expected.
2005-11-01, bottle conditioned, 6-4-7-3-13=33 Cloudy amber color. Fresh aroma, malty, citrus fruits and maybe a light infection. A bit of malt flavor, pretty good hopping, solid, quite astringent at the end, oak astringency. Pleasant.
