iammadeofjelly (183), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Mar 5, 2006 This is a very delightful beer, its much like the other brakspear brew i have tasted but less strong. I really like the taste, hoppy on fruity on malty. the colour is murky and brown, good carbonation, slightly acidic on the back of the tongue. Pleasant mouthfeel. YUMMY and delicious, i will definately drink this again, and again.
Egon (316), Gothenburg, Sweden Nov 2, 2008 Bottle. Amber with white head. A nice fruity flavor with roasted malts. Caramel. Some hops in there but not much. Overall a good bitter but maybe a bit thin. Linnet (47), , Sweden Oct 25, 2008 small foamy white head, amber colour. citric notes pleasant. flavour is fruity with some nice biterness at the end. Avery unassuming but still enjoyable bitter. If it had had a little more body it would have been a great bitter. oldrtybastrd (1793), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 19, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a reddish brown color. Aromas of toasted malts and a touch of hops. Flavor is toasty malt, with a bitter dry hop finish and aftertaste.
