This 100% traditional English beer from rural Oxfordshire, using only organically grown malt and hops is the real thing. Cleverly brewed without finings to also be vegan friendly.

Cask Conditioned at The Swan, Bicester. Orange amber colour, little head. Not traditional beer from rural oxfordshire I'm afraid, try Cheshire. A healthy alcohol rush with a green malty biscuit base. Few top notes though leaving the palate disappointed.

This is my first vegan beer. Dark in colour. It had a bitter taste to it. It went down very smooth. I would drink it again. Very enjoyable.

Dark gold colour, malty aroma, long bitter taste aftertaste fades fairly quickly. a pretty good English Pale ale. Too bad this brewery is going to close.

Dark gold colour, hoppy near the end, fiarly earthy, lots of yeast floating in the glass. Overall not bad.

Minimal but crisp looking head, peachy colour. Fresh and earthy aroma. Mild initial flavour that gives way to some fruitiness and toastiness, and a nice hop finish. Crisp, bubbly mouthfeel.

Amber beer, nice sudsy head. Appetizing looking. More aftertaste than taste. Strongish taste, kind of hard to describe. bubbly, fills my mouth. Very drinkable and enjoyable beer.

Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 13, 2002
Bright amber; earthy hop aroma; toasty hops, slight astrigency, some nice pale malt notes and I would say a shade too much yeast. Herbal hop finish.

Bottle conditioned. Copper coloured, Low head and condition. Fruity peachiness in the nose (Fuggles?) and a hint of yeast. Reasonable balance of fruity malt and hop flavour in the mouth but becomes hop bitter and slightly dry towards the end. Slightly fuller flavoured than most organic beers but still only average.

Neat, nice aroma but to weak. Initially light on flavour but soon will hit you with load of bitterness. Not bad.
