COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Retired 2011; replaced with the 6.7% Triple with a different recipe. Bottles available are old stock.
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Crystal and Black malts; Northdown hops plus Cascade at the end of the boil.
"A beer conceived by Head Brewer Jeremy Moss, to celebrate the return of Brakspear brewing to Oxfordshire. This is a triple fermented, triple hopped strong beer, packaged in individually numbered bottles.

With its high alcohol content and bottle conditioning, this is a beer that will go on to develop further complexity as it matures in its bottle."

Amber in color, thin white head, honey aroma, strong (carbonated) taste, notes of lemon, fresh after taste. A favorite!

500ml bottle - Deep amber body, slight off white head, soon goes. Nose is bananas, molasses, caramel and fruits. Taste is lovely and warming, more alcohol noticeable than in the little 6.7% bottles, and with a great velvety mouthfeel. Decent.

Bottle from Systembolaget Hansacompagniet, Malmö. 7.2 % ABV. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, yeasty and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dey and moderate bitter finish with a small alcohol presence. High carbonation. Not very English. 150114

Kuparinvärinen, mutta kirkas olut. Voimakas maku, mutta monipuolinen, kuiva maku. Jälkimaku pysyy pitkään miellyttävänä suussa.

It’s not retred. I have just bought it. Yes, the 7,2 version :) Imported in Poland. Bottle number 2207158. Pours amber red with robust head. Strong, malty, very full, caramel malt. Finish is malty and short.

Cor marrom cor de Madeira. Pouca firmação de espuma que se esvai rapidamente. Pouco aroma, um pouco de malte, lúpulo. No sabor, baixo dulçor, com bom amargor, mas sem personalidade. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Butterscotch, denatured alcohol, and honney hints in the crisp aroma. Butterscotch and ruccola flavour. Good bitterness in the aftertaste. Strange "bridge" though between the sweet taste and the bitter aftertaste.

Appearance: Clear brownish color with a frothy tan head that leaves a lovely lacing.
Aroma: Mild citric, fruity, light spicy and some yeast.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet, and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture
Taste: Mild banana. Fruity, mild citric, yeast and some spices. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Nice tasty stuff.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with rlgk
