COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. 330ml.
Ingredients: Pale malt, Black Crystal malt, Oats, Target hops.
Switched to filtered in 330ml bottles in 2011, then back to bottle conditioned in 2011.
Its high alcohol content along with the molasses and rum flavours create a beautiful contrast with blue cheeses or steak and kidney pie; and complement Dundee cakes or Cadbury’s fruit and nut.

Bottle from Asda. Benylin, rosehip malt. Sticky sweet. Sticky is the word of the night. This is OK. English Strong Ales are quite good most of the time, aren’t they?

Good, full, long and rich taste. Real pleasure if you take it with some sweet cheese.

500 mL bottle poured into a pint glass. Orange-red, opaque with a creamy head. Perfurmed sweet fruit aroma. Fresh and smooth if surprisingly lacking in body, but still quite refreshing. Not bad but I’d rather have their 7.2% triple.

Brown and clear with thin, lacy head. Sweet aroma with dried fruits, especially raisins. Flavour is also sweet with some banana esters and caramel. Interesting but too sweet.

Clear dark copper coloured with no head and little aroma to my cold filled nose. Full bodied malty hoppy flavour however more than makes up for it. Well balanced. Rich and complex yet doesn?t overwhelm the taste buds. Lovely.

16.1.2014. Tumman kuparin värinen. Tuoksussa hieman karamellia, mallasta. Suutuntuma hiilihappoinen eikä kovin tukeva, melko pehmeä. Maussa hieman karamellia ja mallasta, hieman kypsää hedelmää. Ihan kiva, mutta ei suuria tunteita.

500ml bottle (no. 189,950) from Tesco, Ayr - clear russet, lot of tiny bubbles, thin bubbly beige head, caramel and toffee in the aroma, intermittent lacing, sweet, oily, malty, some fruitiness, high carbonation

500ml bottle, pours ruby with a small tan head. Malty aroma with caramel and toffee notes, ripe banana, hints of chocolate as well. Full bodied with an oily creamy texture developing to a finish that has some bitterness but keeps sweetness through. Soft carbonation. Decent.

Moravius (707) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 12, 2014
