Tasted from bottle on the other side of the earth. Clear golden colour. Quite large bubbles and a sparkling white head. Scents rather than smells here. Golden, cool and zesty aromas. Mature Meyer lemon juice and light biscuity qualities. Full, creamy mouthfeel evident at first and then a cascade of lemon meringue. Light in character, but generous flavours. A rather pleasant pint and I’m relieved to report that this beer travelled well.

Bottle that dad picked up, shared with him, 07.08.10 Pours gold with a white head, some grapefruit lingering on an otherwise quite sweetish nose. Full flavoured with citrus showing but as pleasant as it is, I’m finding this a little too sweet for me and lacking in a substantial bitter bite. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Fruit and hop aromas. Golden coloured strong in alcohol fruity and hoppy with a grapefruit flavour. A little dryness in a crisp and bitter malt finish.
