Cask at GBBF 2012 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan cap. Dark toast in the nose, light chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with great balance, some chocolate, light roast, faint earth, dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Reasonably sweet at the end with light roasted malts, good chocolate notes, mellow bitterness. Excellent mild.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light roasted and coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

GBBF.Clear amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Light dry palate. Palate is a little soft and semi dry. Light toffee lactose malt with a fair serving of coffee! Coffee dominates this beer but it is light and drinkable. Light dry finish.

Cask@GBBF2012. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, nutty, mild toasted and roasted notes along with some toffee and chocolate. Flavour is ripe fruits, coffee, chocolate, some wooden and toffeeish notes along with mild liquorice notes.

On tap at the Crown inn, Beeston as part of the CAMRA mild month. Nice smooth taste and easily quaffable for an Afternoon session.

500ml bottle. Coffee and roasted malt aroma lead into a pretty sublime flavoured beer. Good and full flavoured on the tongue, rounded and slightly warming, with a roasty finish. Pleasing ruby red appearance, this is an excellent bottled mild.

Roast aroma. Mid brown dark coloured and smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly dry full roast finish.

Some rich aroma. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a slightly pale burnt roast finish.
