3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr.
Appearance - lively on opening. Then dark brown and cloudy. A thin head.
Nose - nuts and sweet malt. Toffee.
Taste - hazelnuts and general praline thing going on. A hint of yeast.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly good finish.
Overall - I suspect this is better on cask. There is a concerning yeast note in this bottle.
