COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.

Dark, roasted and jam packed full of flavour. Actually it’s very difficult to describe as the characteristics change so much the longer it is allowed to condition for. At its peak it is so rich you feel like asking if it will lend you a tenner.
Richer than a lottery winner, our take on Brampton Mild is not so much a meal in a glass as a 5-course banquet. Coffee, toffee and caramel tones tease your taste buds and warm your cockles.

Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - lively on opening. Then dark brown and cloudy. A thin head. Nose - nuts and sweet malt. Toffee. Taste - hazelnuts and general praline thing going on. A hint of yeast. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly good finish. Overall - I suspect this is better on cask. There is a concerning yeast note in this bottle.

Cask@angle. Dark red. Soft roasty malty, old coffin, sort of a slight portery nose. With reddish berries. Med bodied, smooth, bitter. Quite nice. Red berries, obvious roast. Some dry chocolate. Interesting, flavourful brew.

Deep red with a light brown head. Aroma of alcohol, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, sawdust and soy sauce. Taste of lots of coffee, cocoa, hints of chocolate and apple, roasted malt and an aftertaste of cocoa and mild bitterness. Fairly sweet. A very nice beer.
