COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.

Dark, roasted and jam packed full of flavour. Actually it’s very difficult to describe as the characteristics change so much the longer it is allowed to condition for. At its peak it is so rich you feel like asking if it will lend you a tenner.
Richer than a lottery winner, our take on Brampton Mild is not so much a meal in a glass as a 5-course banquet. Coffee, toffee and caramel tones tease your taste buds and warm your cockles.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear deep brown with a small white head. The aroma is toasted malt, earth, caramel, rich fruit cake, malt loaf and a touch of umami. The taste is smooth, sweet, sticky, spicy, earth, syrupy fruits, brown bread, nut and chewy malt with some spice on the finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Well made and enjoyable.

Gravicask sampled with Finn at Reading BF 08. Devil black body under a frail head. Roasted malty aroma. Rich malty flavour of sweet, dark caramel. Nice mouthfeel. Rather stong mild ale and one of my best of the style so far (02.05.2008)
