Dark, roasted and jam packed full of flavour. Actually it’s very difficult to describe as the characteristics change so much the longer it is allowed to condition for. At its peak it is so rich you feel like asking if it will lend you a tenner.
Richer than a lottery winner, our take on Brampton Mild is not so much a meal in a glass as a 5-course banquet. Coffee, toffee and caramel tones tease your taste buds and warm your cockles.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2016. Pours clear reddish brown, lasting off-white head. Aroma is layered cocoa, dark malts, light coffee, toffee. Taste is balanced with a good body for a mild. Lovely rich cocoa, nutty malts, toffee with a surprising depth of flavour. Very good Mild.

Cask at GBBF 2010, 3rd Aug 2010. Very dark brown, little bit of whitish head. Lots of chocolate and a little caramel on the nose and in the mouth. Says "classic standard mild" through it like a stick of rock.
