Cask Handpump at the Assembly Rooms, Derby 06/02/2010 Some roast aroma. Dark coloured rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter burnt roast finish.

Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, burnt malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, roasted, burnt roasted, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110430]

Light stout. Light coffee aroma with a bitter chocolate taste. Thick tanned head. Off tap at rose and crown.
