Bottled. A dep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel and brown sugar, as well as medium notes of pumpernickel bread, and light notes of alcohol.

(Bottle 30 cl) Beautiful looking brown beer with a ruby red hue. Malty, sweetish beer with a caramel-like character. Full-bodied wirth a discreet but lasting bitterness. Gets better as it warms. 201203

Bottled. Rubyish amber colour, not much head. Aroma is bigtime caramel and some glueish notes. Flavour is sweet malts, glueish grassy alcohol. Not very pleasant. Glueish alcohol sticking in the aftertaste and finish.

Bottle. Sweet, malty aroma with a little hops. Clear, dark red/chestnut colour. Big, light brown head. Semi-sweet flavour, balanced OK by alcohol and some bitterness. Short caramelly, peppery aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Amber color, small beige head. Roasted dark malts, toffee and some iron in the nose. Very thin for being 7.5 % doppelbock. Toasted malts, sugars and light grassy hops. Lame.
