still one of Dutch best bockbeer available only on draught since 2003. That's a true drama!! for the homedrinkers. This beer i kept in storage for over 2 years(draught) and compared it with 2002 and 2003. It's so remarkable improved compared too the one we drank than. The dark malty flavours were more balanced now, and the hopps a little bit softer. Now a days the quality of the beer is this outstanding and for me one othe best in the netherlands. Unfortunately they can't compete any more in the best dutch bock election each year because the brewery don't produce the beer in bottles. It's a SHAME.

It’s the bock beer amongst the bock beers. Nothing for a heavy drinking session. Try to get som from tap that’s a few years old.

Excellent. Caramelly and full-bodied, not too sweet, and a pleasant bitter aftertaste, great bockbeer.

A clear dark red beer with chocolate taste, with a light brown head. It was eight years ago when i drunk it for the last time.

Aroma: not much malty, bit sweetish, hops a tiny bit bitter, not much. Alcoholic and dry I’d say. Amber color, liquid very clear, head was reddish, heaad dissapeared rather quickly. Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, very good overall.. light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, Good! Overall: Enjoyed this beer, for a cheap beer it’s very good, maybe a bit sweet in the beginnning. Liked it!

Excellent bock beer. One of my favourite bock beers. I like the bitter taste, has much more body than Heineken’s Tarwe bok.

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 113. This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized long lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was transparent and brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild sweet malts . Its mouth feel is biting vinous and malty. Its flavor contained bock like vinuous sweet malty notes and was very tasty. All-in-all very nice brew. An excellent beer that I would buy again.

bottled again since new bockbeer season 2005. the best double-dutch bock i dare to say! red brown, no head. aroma: sweetish, roasted malt, nutty. taste: roasted malts, woody, nutty, bit fruity(banana...like the german style doppelbock), sweet(but not too much) and bitter. full bodied, average co2. finishes long fruity and alc. warming. very nice!!
