2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium amber with a white, foamy, lacy, thick, lasting off-white head. Smells of fresh fruit, toasted and caramel malt, with faint roasted notes. Alcohol is present. Medium oily body with medium carbonation. Sweet taste of nut, malt and caramel with some faint dark fruit - raisin mixed with citrus orange. Alcohol is still present. The finish is tart and bitter. Leaves the palate dry. Drinkable and decent but strong.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bought a bottle at the Jumbo Gorinchem. The beer has a red brown color and a nice creamy white head, CO2 is very livingly. In the aroma tones of malts and some honey. The taste is sweet but also has a light hop bitterness. The finish is malty and sweet and very long. I don’t know why they call this a bock, it’s more a strong amber for me. Nothing special and quiet boring beer.

Why is this labeled a bock? It’s more like a malty amber beer. Quite boring actually.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Unimpressive head. Smells malty. Tastes malty with a smooth bitter finish. However, the beer is a bit too much on the caramel-sweet side. Prefer the hoppier Brand UP.
