Bottle 30cl. @ home.
Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, roasted notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081216]

Bottle, 6.5%. Quite fruity aroma, hint of pepper and anise. Clear dark amber colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, fruity with a little raw liquorice. The alcohol level is OK. Could have done without the liquorice, in my opinion.

Bottled BB 05/2009. Clear amber color, small white head. Caramel, rye bread, cardboardish malts in the nose. Sweetish, a bit alcoholic, some prune fruityness. Liveless. I can drink a bottle, but this brew is boring.

Bottle. Thank you, bierkoning. Pours light orange amber with a medium, fizzy, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has a little butter, some caramel and light flowery hops. Lowish carbonation, fine, lightly creamy mouthfeel. Very caramelly flavour, doughy malts, good sweetness. Light alcoholic edge with som blackberries. Okay beer.

Malty, raisinny aroma. Sweet, malty taste with raisin, cabbage and some late hopbitterness.

Keg on tap, 300ml at Hardys, Valkenburg, NL Limburg. Amber colour with white head. Dry, bitter beer, quite different to expectations, there is a dry maltiness but unfortunately little hop. There is a grapefruit tanginess on the close.

(30cl bottle) Clear, amber colour with a beautiful light-beige foamy head. Sweet, biscuity and nutty, slightly roasted malty aroma with a very subtle fruity undertone. Bitter-sweet flavour with a tart edge, medium to full bodied, smooth carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with notes of caramel and a tinge of tart fruits, especially towards the moderately sweet malt accented finish. Not overly convincing, just drinkable (04.III.09).
