Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090719]

(Bottle 30 cl) Beautiful, fully golden beer with a small head. Very fruity aroma. Rounded with some soft, wheaty touches. Sweetness well balanced by a very dry bitterness. This may be called a Bock, but it’s top fermented ("hooggegist"). A positive surprise. 130701

30 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is grassy, light cornish and mild malty. Thick malty, light metallic and toasted malty flavoured. Sweet malty and light metallic finish.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, alcohol, sweet malts, some grains and mild honeyish notes. Flavour is sweet malts, grains, grass and alcohol. ’Not that inspiring...

Bottle, 6.5%. Caramelly and slightly spicy aroma. Does not smell like spicy hops, however. Hint of paper. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is a little yeasty and estery, good subtle sweetness. Sort of like wheat beer esters that I do not like too well, but OK.

Bottle @ Beerts Bierhuis, Utrecht. Pours clear golden with a white head on top. Grain, corn and a touch of alcohol. Medium to thin body. Short end.

On tap. A clear, golden to amber beer topped by a finger-thick, white head. Buttery and fruity nose with topical fruits, sugar and grains. Maybe not sounding very good, but it was not bad at all. The flavor has some grains, with fruityness, white sugar and a fine bitterness. Full-bodied and slightly warming, heavy on the carbonation. Warming, bitter and fruity finish. Overall, too buttery but a decent beer. 110502
