Another from Poperinge. Dark ruby brown. Mild head. Woody malt aroma. Very sweet and malty with a trace of smoked wood. Too sweet for my taste. Like a chocolate cookie soaked in beer.

Bottled. A deep red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of fruit and caramel - very sweet. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, straw, and malt, leading to a sweet finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.

Pours the colour of cola with a nice lacing. Malty aroma. Sweet, but with a hint of malt and grass. Watery, but that’s to be expected at this ABV.

pivnizub (7229) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 7, 2010
Bottle: Clear, mahagony coloured, bigger stable tanned head; sweetish-caramelly nose with a molecular toasty&metallic touch; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied as expected; slightly lingering sweetish dark-malty finish. Sweet and thin - according to the style - but drinkable though......
