UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 Bought a bottle at the supermarket. Aroma of corn and hops. Has a light blond color and a white head, well carbonated. Taste of hops, is sweet/bitter and has a bitter aftertaste which you can taste a long time. Conclusion: for me the best pilsner in Holland after Brand UP.

Decent head, good colour. Marketed as having "more hops" (than other pilsners). I think there might be some truth in this. Smells more hoppy/grassy and fresh than many other (Dutch) pilsners and the taste has a nice bitterness to it.

30 cl bottle. Clear golden with a medium white head. A very bitter pilsner.

300ml bottle. Very bitter with some strange nutes in taste, hoppy palate. White, medium thick foam, stays for some time. Light yellow colour reminds me some other substance made by human body after drinking not to good beer. Nothing special at all.

An average pilsner. Nice to drink all day long but not that special pilsner.
Nice if you are really thirsty.

Appearance: clear blonde beer.
Nose: somewhat bitter, little hops.
Taste: it drinks away very fast, the starting bitter taste goes away really quick. very watery, but could also be the bad tap...

Of the widely available Dutch pilsners, this is my personal favorite. Its got slightly more carb, and is somewhat drier and less thick than others. RIght up there with Hertog Jan.

Gold-gelb und viel feinporiger Schaum. In der Nase dann neben dem Hopfen eine gewisse Grasigkeit. Der Antrunk ist weich und mild-malzig. Der Körper eher schlank, aber nicht wäßrig. Der Hopfen kommt aromatisch durch und verlangt nach dem nächsten Schluck. Für mich ein sehr gelungenes Pils aus der ältesten Brauerei der Niederlande. Gerne wieder!
