0.3 l bottle from local AH, best before January 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of straw, some grains and sweet malts. Sweetish, slightly grassy taste of straw, grains and sweet malts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Mooi Limburgs pils.

Aroma leggero di malto d’orzo, leggerissimo floreale. Al palato malto d’orzo, leggermente citrica, finale erbaceo delicato misto a crosta di pane. Corpo leggero, mediamente carbonata.

Slightly more bitter and hop than most pilsners. If you think Heineken is to sweet, Amstel to Middle of the road and Grolsch not bitter enough, Brand is then a nice supermarket pilsner alternative. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25cl draft from tap, at Café Loburg in Wageningen, The Netherlands (27 V 2016). Clear dark yellow to golden coloured brew with lovely white and thick foam on top. The beer looks calm and not very vivid. The nose has a solid pilsener malts nose with fairly balanced hoppy character. The taste is a downer, with lots of water and dull malts, and a rather uninspiring bitterness. The sweet and bitter notes aren’t rich or original. This is a faint, not hard to forget lager.

Goudgele Pilsener. Aroma, zoals alle Pils, is nagenoeg niets. Smaak is fris met een prima bitter. Goed pils... Verder niet veel over te melden.

Bottle shared. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry cardboard mineral aspiri palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

F: big, snow white, good retention. C: yellow, clear. A: malty, floral, hint of lemon, caramel, bread. T: malty, sweet, grassy hops, white sugar, grainy, commercial beer, reminds me some polish pilsner, average but not bad, 0,33l can from AH supermarket in Amsterdam.

Quite malty aroma for an ordinary pilsener. Balanced sweet and bitterness. Not very light body. Relatively long aftertaste with a hint of bitterness.
