Quite malty aroma for an ordinary pilsener. Balanced sweet and bitterness. Not very light body. Relatively long aftertaste with a hint of bitterness.

Probably the best bulk pils/lager in the Netherlands. golden, clear, white foam, medium bitterness, light body, thin feel,

Nice pilsener. Fresh, sweet, but nothing too special. Nothing in the taste makes it better than other Dutch pilseners.

From tap at De Paas. Sweet malts, grassy bitter finish. Backlog from 2014/04/08.

330 ml can. BB Mei/16. (Albert Heijn) Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Clear golden color with a mid-size foamy white head. Grassy hops, mild sweetness, mild bitterness and some maltiness in the aroma. The flavor is a bit more industrial. There’s some grassy hops, mild bitterness and dryish maltiness. Lacks the character.

Valt nog mee voor een Nederlandse Pils. Wel weinig of geen schuimkraag. Is goed te drinken bij een warme maaltijd.

Misschien net iets beter dan een Bavaria of Heineken, maar ik zal nooit fan worden van pilseners.

Tap at Cafe Karpershoek. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is bready with a touch of grass. Near med body. Flavor matches smell. It’s drinkable.

Tuff to say as a belgian, but I think this is a far better lager than what we are getting in Belgium these days. Crisp bitternes. Almost no sweet, which I like in a lager! Definitely will drink again when I find it.
