3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam
Blond color, creamy head. Delicate cereals aroma, fruity. Moderate flavor of cereals, sweetish, with low bitterness.
It’s a bit sweet, but not bad.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another easily obtainable beer in the Dutch supermarkets, that I haven’t reviewed.
Bottle of 300 ml of course.
The colour is golden yelo, with a nice creamy two finger white head, with very good retention. Average activity in the glass. The head disappears leaving light lacing oaound the glass.
Smell is almost non-existent, very faint malts.
Taste is not bad, quite on the hoppy side.Aftertaste is also bitter.
Average thinness on the body, slight carbonation.
Overall, this is one of your better options in a dutch supermarket, if you want to stay away from Heineken and Grolsch.

The head is ok, the body blond. It smells sweet malty pilsener-hoppy. The taste is maltaromatic, hoppy-sweet. Drinkable. 11/9/10/9/10/10

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle my girlfriend brought back from the Netherlands. Very pale, headless pilsener - or should it be pale lager (spot the difference)? Standard musty malt aroma and taste. Dirty, bitter metallic finish that really isn’t enjoyable. Bland rather than Brand.

22 Oct 2012 saw me, my wife and 26 other members of the CAMRA Investors club have a wonderful afternoon as guests of the brewery: after a film show and giuded tour of the brewery we adjourned to the tasting celler bar where we were given seven different brews to taste: I had plenty of each!
This was the most tasteless of the beers offered: I had to have two glasses (on-tap), just be sure it was as bland as I thought it was after the first glass.
Looked like Mr Average Pilsner, golden, clear and of course it was as fresh as you are going to get: but it was just a wet fizzy drink that a few hops and a hand full of malts had been dropped in. Very disappointing, especially as we were being looked after so well. I’ve been kind with my scoring!

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale golden pour with a white head. A strong corn aroma. Some pale malt sweetness, maybe a hint of bread. Straw and grass are in there as well. The flavor is pretty bland and watery. Lightly sweet with some corn, pale malt, and mild esters. A bit of grain husk bitterness on the finish. Pretty bland and relatively unoffensive.

Yellow with a white head. Malty nose with some hops. Good strong pilsener taste with more hops than usual in a Dutch pilsener.
