Typical lager aroma with hops. Clear golden color with white head. Bitter sweet flavor. Nice mouthfeeling with hops palate. Normal carbonation.
Overall: better than the big brands, but not as nice as the old Brand UP.
oh6gdx (6416), Vaasa, Finland Nov 18, 2008 Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is vegetably, grainy and slightly eggy along with mild rubbery hints. Flavour is hops, metal, mild sweet eggy maltyness. looframp (6), , Netherlands does not count Oct 5, 2008 Nice to drink along a good meal. But after a few beers the distinct flavour starts to get annoying. ogivlado (2473), Zagreb, Croatia Aug 28, 2008 On tap at Café Belgique, Amsterdam.
<br />Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, typical dusty pils nose. Just average one, slight malty, weak hoppy with bready and grainy notes. Short bitter finish. Straling (71), Amstenrade, Netherlands Aug 25, 2008 Tap.
Smell is not very distinctive, smells as most pilsener.
Taste is reasonable, but experience tells me that more than 3 of these will give you a bad headache, so nice for a couple, but not to drink in large quantities. RichardGretton (2699), Leicestershire, England Aug 3, 2008 Draft@Arnhem, Netherlands. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is slightly chemical, dry and hopped. Overall a standard’ish lager.
